Accountable for: 1) Developing and implementing the Group’s People Plan linked to the Bank’s Purpose and Strategy. 2) Designing and delivering high quality and effective leadership and management development and employee curriculum and solutions to develop capabilities to deliver the Group’s strategy. Providing specialist support for the top leaders in the Group - specifically around succession, development planning and talent management. 3) Driving and leading the Group’s Talent strategy through effective talent and succession planning ensuring succession plans are in place and ensuring development activity is managed. 4) Building leadership capability, through the provision of training and coaching. Advising the Executive on strategies to improve leadership, sales and service effectiveness. 5) Providing organisational design consultancy and development and articulation of the Group Operating model including core accountabilities, structures and jobs. 6) Delivering a recruitment acquisition strategy to identify the most effective profile of ‘build, buy, borrow or ‘bot’ and providing internal recruitment services to meet hiring demands across the Group. 7) Providing Behavioural Science capability across the Group.

Group Head of Reward - Performed the role for the 2010/ 2011 group reward cycle and provided legal interpretation of the PRA remuneration code to the Board until 2016

Board member of the Employee Relations Institute, chaired by Lord Sawyer, bringing together twenty of the largest employers in the UK, together with the major trade unions, CBI and TUC, to provide minimum standards and education and training for line managers and representatives of Employee Relations to improve workplace relations.
