As the managing partner of the White & Case LLP Shanghai office, I managed the growth of the team from 2 fee earners to 20 fee earners. Practice areas: M&A, joint ventures, private equity and foreign direct investment into China (including employment, IP and compliance)Represented startups and multinational corporations, private equity funds, and other institutions in cross-border M&A and joint venture transactions (including the largest transaction ever between India and China).Represented Chinese companies in acquisitions outside of China (including a US$10 billion bid for a German bank). Represented multinational and startup companies in their China planning and market entry strategies (including multiple Fortune 300 companies).
