Managing 3 teams within the Records and Renewals department. Responsible for the development of team members and overseeing procedures in the day to day running of the department. Maintenance of Inprotech and improving work processes by implementing new systems and workflows across the company

This was the creation of a new (initially small) team to handle our formalities service for one of our larger clients as well as the handling of Hong Kong patent applications and translations for European clientsIn April 2017 this role was expanded to include the Records Patents teamIn November 2019 this role further extended to include the Records Trademarks teamAs of today I actively lead 3 teams in all duties ranging from standard Records duties to the handling of Hong Kong patent applications and other client’s formalitiesI also work very closely with our translation providers to ensure efficient support to external clients as well as in-house attorneys to meet their translation requirements

Developing new procedures and introducing new systems to the department in order to streamline work processes and progress the team towards a more efficient way of working.Cover the Manager & Deputy in their absence including controlling the company's central mailbox.Support many jobs in the department including Client Administration, Renewals and Records

Processing and delegating the patent administration workload, including administration for the full life-cycles of GB, EP, PCT and Foreign Patent Applications

Correspond with clients, processing of instructions, pay renewal fees to the patent offices (EPO and UKIPO)
