About the Department of Adult & Juvenile Detention: The King County Jail system is the largest county jail system in the state of Washington. King County Jails house about 2,500 inmates a day. We work closely with 40 law enforcement agencies within King County. DAJD books over 50,000 people per year. Our honor guard represents King County internationally. We provide inmates with GED education, health care, psychiatric services, and other programs.

Members of the Air Force Security Forces, which are tasked with providing force protection duties, guarding weapons, air bases and Air Force personnel from possible dangers.The Security Force's main goal is to keep the people, planes, base, weapons (even nuclear), and the surrounding area safe from any threat, including the intrusion by unauthorized people. The largest career field in the Air Force, the Security Forces stay busy with their primary duties and still are the base's first response to disasters — either natural or man-made.
