John Lemley created The JBL Group Incorporated (“JBL”) in May of 1999 to provide its clients with unbiased, internal investment banking capacity and advisory services. Since its inception, JBL has served in the capacity of investment banker, placement agent and financial advisor for both for-profit and non-profit development organizations; municipal housing & redevelopment authorities; corporations; financial institutions and institutional investors. Over more than 25 years, his clients have included a wide variety of small, medium and large development organizations, the redevelopment, housing and community development agencies of Milwaukee, Madison and Waukesha , Wisconsin - New Orleans, Louisiana - Tucson, Arizona and Santa Fe, New Mexico as well as Norwest (now Wells Fargo) Bank and Mortgage - Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Corporation ("MGIC"), Robert W. Baird Incorporated, Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Alliant Energy, Kimberly-Clark, State of Wisconsin Investment Board ("SWIB"), Northwestern Mutual Life.He has also been responsible for the creation of several client specific financing programs to provide capital market access to small and medium sized businesses, affordable multifamily projects, affordable single family housing and mixed use redevelopment projects. Some of these programs have been recognized on a national basis.
