CurrentInternational Commodity Trading & innovative Product Brand Developers.Facilitating import and export transactions for a variety of commodities, including:- Managing the procurement and exportation of FMCG to the UK and EU- Secured the exclusive rights with Rovio in Finland to fully develop and manufacture beverages under the Angry Birds™ brand in South Africa for distribution into Africa in conjunction with the release of the Angry Birds™ Sony Movie release• Maintaining meaningful working relationships with all global contacts• Negotiating deals that prove attractive to and ultimately profitable for both MGL Commtrade and the engaging party• Deriving and implementing the overall strategic direction of the company, across all operational functions• Overseeing financial delivery, tracking expenditure, analysing return on investment and driving profitability• Effectively steering staff members and guiding outsourced agents to effectively take MGL product to market• Compiling financial projections, budgets and forecasts• Deriving and implementing marketing strategies for all brands for national and export distribution• Managing contract negotiations, including:- National S&D agents, international S&D agents, celebrity sponsorship deals, minor sponsorship deals and any other major decisions needed that involve contractual agreements of any kind• Overseeing the day-to-day running of the business, including managing the in-house regional and national sales teams and liaising with the outsourced S&D agents• Overseeing the general management of the business and all the factors involved in driving the business forward and growing the company owned brands on a National and International basis• Managing and implementing all new product development, including:- Concept, product recipe formulations, packaging design, 3pl contract pack solution negotiations, 3pl supply chain sourcing and negotiations and key accounting regional and national retail accounts
