Direct Mail and Database Manager reporting to Director of Fundraising April 2006 • Manage all direct mail throughout the year for companies, individuals, Trusts and community Groups. This has seen increase in both Trinity and North London Hospice direct Mail return.• Manage integrity of database and the production of a Raiser’s Edge manual• Running reports on Donorflex (North London Hospice CRM)• Training of staff on procedures and use of data• Providing fundraisers with support on how to use the database e.g. queries• Leading on meetings to talk with fundraisers about their needs and what the database can do• Co-ordinating all outgoing communications to ensure individual supporters get staggered and appropriate mailings• Random auditing of database to identify issues and follow up with support needed to rectify• Management of 5 permanent employees onsite Liaising with printer and mailing houses to ensure accurate print and timely delivery• All gift aid returns and income – tripling gift aid income over three years• Maintain all expenditure and invoice records for the Fundraising department• Creating operational procedures to ensure reconciliation with accounts• Working with the Gambling Commission to obtain the necessary licences for lottery activity and producing the documents for compliance visits from the commission Project Adviser to Compton on Raiser’s EdgeWhere needed, training and support for other clients on use of RE, including Greenwich and Bexley Hospice and St Christopher’s Hospice where I restructured their RE database. Training days for new recruits working with other Compton clients. I was also involved in the Capital campaign for St Dunstan’s, worked with the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants for England & Wales) on their Foundation Legacy programme, worked with the Pennies Foundation and was part of the feasibility studies for Fight for Sight and Help the Hospices (Hospice UK).
