Currently working on a team that is updating an existing VB and Web Forms reporting application to use Angular, Net 6, web api hosted in azure.

As the Architect I am responsible for the architecture, design, new development, maintenance, and planning of projects for new and current clients. As well as assisting and coaching other members of the team on various projects when the need arises. These projects utilize mostly Microsoft technology including Windows Forms, MVC, SQL Server, and Xamarin with several third-party libraries including Knockout JS, Bootstrap, JQuery, and Telerik.

As a Sr. Developer I was solely responsible for all work for our major client. This work included a new client portal, automated package selection and ordering system, as well as a complete rework of their billing and charge calculation system. This rework has saved the client countless hours during their monthly billing process and localized all billing information into a single set of pages instead of the data being spread across multiple reports and excel files.

Responsible for the custom software application projects. This involved full stack development on several web apps and services using SQL Server, MVC, Entity Framework, Bootstrap and various JavaScript libraries for multiple clients.

I am responsible for maintaining and enhancing an internal task tracking application, This application is used by the call centers to track customer call back and repair calls as well as coordinate and manage several back office process. In addition I help evaluate new requirements, and work with the BAs and rest of the dev team to plan sprints and team work load. The application is written in ASP.NET MVC, KnockoutJS, Bootstrap, and WebAPI 2.The application also uses SQL Server 2012, Entity Framework 6, and SSRS for data storage, access and reporting. Our team has recently taken on responsibility for a home grown ASP.NET Web Forms application used by another team. I've also taken on responsibility for providing this team with much needed reporting and planning future upgrades to their application.

Working with Washington University IT IDM team on their Active Directory consolidation project. Primarily updating their C# ASP.NET Web Forms user management app and SQL Server database to better support the new Active Directory environment and allow more direct management of AD Users, Groups, and Organizational Units.

Designed and wrote the primary web application, database access layer and set up the REST web service using C#, MVC5, jQuery, Bootstrap, and Web API 2. All of which is hosted in MS Azure. Contributed to the mobile app design and main feature set.

Part of the team that maintained and customized a core SIlverlight business app per customer requirements.Responsibilities included- Reviewing and updating requirements with the business analysts based on whats possible in the given time frame, consistent with the rest of the application, and general good practices.- Designing and updating the Silverlight UI and view models.- Determining what database updates need to take place, making those changes and updating Entity Framework to match.- Working with the business analysts to ensure the changes meet the set requirements and established business rules for the given client.

Member of a small but effective development team, focusing on ASP.Net, C# front end with a SQL Server 2008 back end.Responsibilities include:- Responsible for updating and maintaining our main web application, completed a total rewrite of this in 2010 with quite a few new features and updates over the previous versions. Specific work included a complete redesign of the UI, adding Telerik Rad Controls, as well as various JavaScript UI enhancements.- Update various web apps with HTML 5 features and enhancements where necessary. Additionally, add new features and sites for our customers, which included a new CSS3 / HTML5 based mobile friendly Parent-centric site.- Design, develop, and debug the company’s native iOS and Android applications using Eclipse and XCode. - Architected and started development on a Xamarin based cross platform “Community” app for schools.- Helped design the UI and feature set for all the Company’s mobile apps and designed the backend processes and data flow to power them.- Oversaw the QA and assisted the offsite resources with debugging of several apps. Including fixing several issues after code delivery, or that were caused by various OS updates.- Responsible for the development of all SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and table structures necessary for various applications to function properly. Additional database responsibilities include database tuning and coding. - Assist management in training new hires, assist the NOC department in solving more complicated issues, and maintain / update the company’s non-web based backend code. - Assisting our Network Operations department in solving more complicated client issues.

Oversaw and conducted the monitoring, maintenance, and all upgrades for the company’s calling platform consisting of dozens of servers and based in several cities.- Supervised a team which monitored our calling platform and handled any load balancing issues, breakage, or upgrades that were necessary in our Co-Location facilities or main office. - Configured and installed all backup web, voice, and database servers currently in production. - Constructed our server cabinets in co-location facilities in 3 cities and worked with our service providers to troubleshoot any problems during “turn up” of the IDSN PRIs and networking connections at those locations. - Assisted the team in identifying and resolving various server and systems related issues, such as server crashes, network drops, and issues related to the company’s backend software. Served as the last level of escalation when necessary, and handled / traced / documented said issues in order to mitigate similar problems if they arose again

- Responsible for maintaining the primary web application, and adding additional features as necessary.- Extended the functionality of the SOAP web service I created as an intern to support more feature rich client apps- Transitioned the data import features of the sites and service from row by row inserts to a bcp/bulk insert process- Built and integrated TTS functionality to the web apps and web service using Microsoft Speech SDK and voices from various vendors.- Occasionally performed various desktop support, SA, and server maintenance tasks both before and in conjunction with my role as NOC Manager.

Enhanced and maintained the existing ASP.NET web forms app, including creating a SOAP web service for partner integration, and adding the ability for our customers to send mass email communications to their contact lists. I also provided desktop support for employees and second level customer service support if needed. Assisted in server maintenance and installs when necessary.
