Goals: 1) Apply collaborative Systems Microscopy approaches to explore and understand static and dynamic heterogeneity in cellular models (of migration and self-organisation) and cancer tissues; incorporating concepts from cell biology, systems biology and complex systems science to 2) Contribute to the motivation and development of improved data sharing, communication and integration practices, thereby enabling faster, smarter Systems BiologyKey Experience• Conception, motivation, development and application of a unique Systems Biology research framework addressing complex cellular processes through live single cell fluorescence imaging, multidimensional quantitative data extraction and advanced statistical analyses.• Eight years experience leading a multidisciplinary team of up to 10 researchers with expertise in cell biology, imaging, data analytics, mathematical statistics, control engineering and biophysics. • Design and management of >15 inter-dependent research projects including use of project management platforms (Basecamp).• Invited presentations at >25 national and international conferences and institutions.• Co-supervision of 7 post-doctoral researchers, 3 PhD students.• 10 years experience using visual data analytics softwares (Tableau, Qlucore) for Big Data analysis. 5 years experience developing and managing development of customised data analysis platforms (R, Knime and Matlab). • Design and collaborative development (with industry partners) of 2 commercial image analysis softwares.• Significant contribution to development of patented clinical technologies (co-inventor).Specialties: • Development of imaging-based frameworks for multivariate, multi-scale data production and analysis • Conception of original quantitative analyses to interrogate complex biological questions• Leadership, Management and Motivation of multidisciplinary teams and collaborations• Communication of challenging concepts and findings
