With over thirty years of successful international expertise in the turf management industry, and the industry’s highest formal qualifications, I offer a very strong overall package. I specialise in getting results quickly and was relied upon by various governing bodies of sport and private companies to make significant quality improvements in a wide range of challenging situations. My career path to date has led to become an international specialist in the field of multisport facility design, construction and general management with a growing interest in site Ecology. During this time I was fortunate enough to work with some of the industry’s best practitioners who imparted the highest exacting working standards upon me. Although my primary background is within the golf course management industry, my skills also include the maintenance of all types of natural and synthetic sports surfaces after serving as a senior consultant. Those people who have worked with me during my career would say that I am especially good at building strong, highly productive working relationships with clients and employees alike. Looking to the practical skills required in facility management, I have produced an excellent track record with regard to: financial, personnel and general operations management. I strongly believe that optimum performance is fundamentally important to facility management; whether related to surface playability, labour efficiency or financial administration and these are focal working objectives. Finally, excellent communication is a key strength and my ability to present ideas whilst being persuasive and influential are highly valued personal assets.
