I am a result/goal-oriented engineer with 20 years of experience in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) environment, of which 7 years were heavily involved in field service and field application for Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machines. I led and won numerous evaluation against competitors which resulted in sales of machines. One of the achievement is that with my participation in the new product beta and evaluation of QX500, CyberOptics sold hundreds of AOI machines to QSMC - Quanta Shanghai Manufacture City (China/Shanghai) and follow up with sales to other subsidiaries of Quanta Computer, the largest notebook computer ODM company in the world. I am a team player and can work independently with minimum guidance. I also travelled extensively to regional countries to perform product/sales presentation and demonstration of product capabilites to potential customer. Conducting best practice training locally and oversea to enhance existing product capabilities and new products. During my years in CyberOptics (S) Pte Ltd, I contributed in many projects from product development (in operation aspect) to software improvement in relation to voice of customer and conducting of best practice training to global customer engineering (CE) groups on the latest products and new software implementation. But due to the company re-structuring and the newly created position of Global Product Specialist, which has no revenue to the company, thus I was released in November 2013. I am currently actively seeking for a new challenging job.
