Primary responsibilities include: -Recruit, hire, retain, and effectively supervise all school employees. -Create and manage the school’s annual multi-million dollar fiscal budget. -Prepare and execute the school’s required annual fiscal audit.-Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations.-Create and execute the school’s marketing campaigns, in order to meet student enrollment goals.-Communicate, in a timely fashion, vital information to each board member. -Prepare and execute quarterly board meetings and document all actions taken by the board.-Serve as the main point of contact from the SC Public Charter School District to SC Whitmore School.-Supervise the administrative team and ensure consistent quality and accuracy.Achievements: -Graduated over 1,000 at-risk youth from across the state from 2015-2021.-Increased the school's graduation rate by 106% from 2015-2021.-Increased the school's student enrollment by 95% from 2015-2021.-Increased the academic scholarships earned by students by 122% from 2015-2021.-SCWS earned a 231 point increase in SAT composite score from 2015-2016, the highest in the state. -SCWS was named the 2020 "Best Charter School" by the Post and Courier’s Free Times.-SCWS was named a 2019 "Top Work Place" by the Columbia Business Monthly Magazine.-Named as one of the 2018 "Best and Brightest" by the Columbia Business Monthly Magazine.-Invited into the prestigious Transform SC network in 2016.-In April of 2016 the SC House of Representatives honored SCWS with a House Resolution acknowledging the significant efforts of SCWS in educating at-risk students across the state.
