With a direct focus on product innovation, I am looking for improvements by marrying up past experiences of catalyst manufacture with the practical and working application of these catalyst materials in electrochemical applications. Whilst working with precious metals is the de facto standard for a lot of these, I am interested in seeing how next generation materials can be developed and introduced in a global capacity.With extensive chemical expertise, I am capable of providing support in a variety of roles from sampling, analytical testing, wet chemical methods, laboratory practices within industrial settings and beyond. I am also very well versed and qualified in areas such as QHSE, production chemistry, analytical, metallurgy etc. and have completed 4 years researching nano-materials. My skill set is strongly practical despite having extensive director and managerial experience. With over 15 years on site service and troubleshooting in the semiconductor and nanotechnology sector, I have been responsible for a range of multi-million dollar, critical throughput process and test equipment. This involved working in a high pressure environment directly with customers such as Intel, Motorola, Nokia etc. to ensure that failed equipment could be brought back into service as quickly as possible with maximum up time and involved travelling worldwide to customer sites -often out of hours- as part of critical response contracts.
