Over three years as a Lead Archaeologist (Principal Investigator and Project Manager) with SWCA Environmental Consultants, now a home-based remote employee in Philadelphia, PA working with the Central Texas region offices. I conduct, manage, supervise, and report on cultural resources projects across Texas and Oklahoma.Four years Archeologist/Cultural Resources Specialist for the Wildlife Division of Texas Parks and Wildlife. I reviewed construction and habitat projects on Wildlife Management Areas for cultural resources compliance. This included background reviews, archeological investigation, consultation with the SHPO and other agencies, and completing reports. I also reviewed third-party projects that impact WMAs.Three years as an Archeologist III with the TPWD, State Parks Division Archeology Survey Team. I helped conduct archeological surveys, do site recordings and assessments, and assist in designing management plans for cultural resources in the Texas State Parks and Natural Areas. I also wrote the bulk of one report.Nine years as a field technician and staff archaeologist for SWCA in Austin for almost 9 years.Field experience with construction monitoring, intensive archaeological survey, NRHP significance testing, and data recovery projects in Texas. Experience with intensive archaeological survey in Oklahoma. Limited reconnaissance survey experience in Louisiana. Experience conducting and leading metal detector surveys on historic battlefields and other sites.Laboratory experience includes cleaning, identification, and cataloging of artifacts. I have conducted multiple lithic analyses including lithic debitage, formal and informal chipped stone tools, and groundstone tools. I served as a main author and co-author for multiple small survey project reports.
