Working alongside the OD/L&D team to develop their internal all-level management training programme. This has now been successfully rolled out across Kent to regional organisations and companies in partnership with other Local Authorities in the county.

I led and managed an Ofsted regulated 'good' independent school that works primarily with secondary school aged students who are struggling in mainstream education due to complex learning/emotional/behavioural needs and are at risk of/have been permanently excluded. Following a year with the gap year team I stepped into management, taking ownership of the programme and developing it to provide both the gap year volunteers and our clients with a 'product' that became nationally renowned within the industry.As well as leading the annual programme I was responsible for running bespoke events. These varied in almost every detail - delivering training and activities for group sizes ranging from 6 to hundreds, at small local venues, large estates around the country and even remote, wild locations including lakes, rivers and mountains. I was often the lead contact from the moment a client made an enquiry to receiving post event feedback - taking responsibility for the contract, finances, staffing and resources.Throughout my time at Adventure Plus I was recognised in my achievements receiving the honour of meeting both PM David Cameron and HRH Prince Philip.
