John Lund is one of the Vancouver film industry’s premiere storyboard artists and creative consultants, collaborating with some of the best creative minds in the entertainment industry. John’s projects include Netflix’s Lost in Space and A Series of Unfortunate Events where he worked closely with directors such as David Nutter and Barry Sonnenfeld. With over 140 television series and feature film credits, his list includes top shows such as The Mighty Ducks, The Good Doctor, Supernatural, The Man in the High Castle, The Magicians, The Originals and many more. John is also known for his work on Feature films such as Warcraft and Elysium.Over the recent years, as a creative consultant, John has enjoyed mentoring numerous aspiring directors, helping them find effective ways to design their shot list and heighten the emotional impact of every scene. He has also assisted in co-choreography for stunts, helping select great camera angles with maximum effect. His list of repeated top clients is extremely impressive.John has also created storyboards for hundreds of commercials, including for Apple, Armani, Ford, Kelloggs, Microsoft, Mitsubishi, Nissan and Visa. Due to John’s outstanding credits, reputation for creative excellence and a strong work ethic, he is in constant demand by directors and commercial production teams worldwide. Educated at the University of British Columbia in Fine Arts and History, John began his career as a children’s book illustrator and has been published in over 30 books, including the Dr Seuss, Sesame Street and Bear in the Big Blue House series with clients including Random House and Simon & Schuster. He is passionate about excellence in cinematic vision and compelling story telling in both visual and word forms. Prior to discovering his love of art and film, John worked as a model in Paris and actor in Vancouver and LA. He loves to write, volunteer and teach children about storytelling and film.
