- Analyzing, evaluating and pricing commercial property and casualty insurance coverage
- Collaborating with over 75 agents to develop the appropriate coverage and premiums for our mutual customers
- Managing an underwriting assistant and working with 15 unit team members and assistants to develop a profitable underwriting region through monthly financial reviews discussing current profits, evaluating loss reserves.
- Developed a formula to implement earthquake sub-limit coverage on a blanket basis to cap the exposure per claim, resulting in creating a $2 million surplus in the state of IL and received recognition from upper-level.
- Recruited, qualified, interviewed and selected for a 4-month field representative sales training course, learning the facets of all departments from a sales perspective
