Born and raised in the hospitality capital of the world Las Vegas, NV, my hotel career began in a 5-Diamond JW Marriott hotel located in Summerlin Las Vegas. I’ve been blessed with over 24 years of award winning experience in planning, organizational development, and general and administrative management. Recognized highly in team building, mentoring and leadership. Experienced in facilitating change in a workforce to support reengineering initiatives and meet organizational operating, financial and quality objectives. Ability to write and implement efficient work budgets,policies, programs and procedures for a region of hotels. Overall, I have demonstrated talent for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, directing and developing an award-winning staff. My hospitality journey has taken me across the United States starting from Nevada to California for 5 years working with the Residence Inn Marriott brand, NFL Dallas Cowboys and HBO Hard Knocks, Ventura Beach Marriott full-service Senior F&B Operations Manager, and then promoted to a General Manager role in Texas. This is where I spent the next few years working with Marriott and Hilton as a Lead GM for the Sate of Texas. Very active in the local community by serving in local beach cleanups, Ronald McDonald House, Women’s Shelter, Food Bank, and blood drives. From 2017-2018 I served on the local Greater Corpus Christi, TX Hospitality Association (GCCHA) board and now I am currently on the Global Board of the Residence Inn by Marriott Culture Council, nominated by Ruby Huang of Starwood Capital. As General Manager I have a deep passion to mentor and see others become successful in our industry. Teaching in this industry I’ve had the pleasure to be a Lead GM Trainer in the state of TX and Colorado, where I continued to be a Lead GM for the State with Aimbridge Hospitality. Currently I manage a 5 Enhanced Disney World Good Neighbor Hotels in one of the most revenue driven markets in the world. As Area General Manager, I teach a GM Mentorship Program annually to help those who want to grow, obtain their career goals, and help further grow the hospitality industry. My philosophy is to lead by example and put employees first to help each of them grow to their best potential. Then train each detail in my experienced Award-Winning experience to all employees, while building the best fun work environment for the entire team.
