Mr. Compagno was formerly an equity law partner and deputy practice leader at the San Francisco office of Holland & Knight, LLP, one of the largest full service legal firms in the U.S. and the world. His practice focused on real estate, corporate and business law. He has been lead counsel in several hundred million dollars worth of real estate acquisitions and sales and the leasing of millions of square feet of commercial and residential space. Mr. Compagno also served as outside legal counsel for numerous corporate entities and manufacturers in all aspects of business including formation, governance, joint ventures, sales, licensing, negotiations, employment, finance, business disputes, collection and drafting. Prior to his transactional practice, Mr. Compagno litigated numerous civil, business and construction litigation cases and obtained substantial trial and arbitration/mediation experience. Mr. Compagno also served as a criminal prosecutor in the Monterey County District Attorney's office in 1993-1994. He has been recognized as one of America's Top 50 Lawyers for Business Law in California in 2022 and multiple times in Northern California Super Lawyer's magazine for Real Estate Law.
