As a member of the Board of Directors I provided strategic advice to Infrastructure and Energy Alternatives, Inc (IEA) management and Board as well as serving on the Board bid review, audit and multiple special financing committees. As a Senior Advisor at Blackstone, I advised both the Credit and Infrastructure groups relative to structured credit and equity investments in U.S. renewable energy opportunities. Additionally, as an expert witness in the United States Court of Federal Claims and in confidential arbitration, I provided expert reports, testimony and general industry advice to counsel and the plaintiffs in two separate cases, both settled successfully. Prior to retiring from JPM Capital Corporation I served for over 11 years on the Board of Directors of The American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) now The American Clean Power Association. During that time I was a long serving member of the Finance committee, By Laws review committee, CEO search committee, Chair of the Diversity committee, and the Education committee. As former CEO/President of JPM Capital Corporation, a subsidiary of J.P.Morgan, I am a recognized leader in the renewable energy industry and ranked #4 on the “Top 100 Power People of 2017” global list. My proven expertise in the areas of investment analysis, capital raising, deal origination, project financing, and product development has highlighted a progressive career as a high growth, team-oriented executive, with the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholder levels. After creating this new proprietary investment business in 2002, I assembled a top team to grow the investment portfolio with a focus on renewable power including wind, solar and geothermal projects. Under my leadership, and in support of this successful venture, I provided strategic advice, access, and direct, hands-on leadership resulting in consistent annual growth. I am a seasoned Board of Directors member for both public and not for profit corporations as well as a corporate based executive, skilled in all aspects of team management, financial controls, and the renewable energy industry.
