I am a Member in the firm's Anti-Terrorism and Human Rights Practice Group focusing on representing victims of terrorism and victims of international human rights abuses in efforts to stem the tide of financing to terrorist organization and human-rights violators who have caused harm to individuals worldwide. I am involved in all phases of litigation for our cases from filing to trial, and I have represented in civil litigation in federal courts the following sampling of plaintiffs:(1) victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks; (2) American servicemen and women and government employees or contractors killed or injured in terrorist attacks carried out by terrorist insurgents in Iraq between 2003 and 2011;(3) victims of hundreds of terrorist attacks including numerous suicide bombings in Israel perpetrated by Hamas, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, and others; (4) victims of bombings in Sri Lanka carried out by the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam; (5) child victims of international human trafficking from Bangladesh to the United Arab Emirates who were exploited in the camel racing industry in Dubai; (6) victims of the 2009 bombing of the J.W. Marriott hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia; (7) victims of the 2004 bombing of the Hilton Hotel in Taba, Egypt; (8) family members of victims of Pan Am Flight 103 that was blown up over Lockerbie, Scotland in 1988; (9) victims of Provisional Irish Republican Army terrorism perpetrated in Great Britain and Northern Ireland against the PIRA's primary supplier Libya; and(10) victims of a 2010 fatal bus crash near Aswan, Egypt in which nine people were killed and dozens were injured.

As the sole associate in a three-attorney firm, I worked closely with the two partners in performing legal research, legislative outreach, expert preparation, drafting of discovery requests and responses, drafting motions and memoranda, and liaison work with co-counsel. The firm concentrated on appellate litigation while also engaging in limited civil and criminal litigation at the trial level. I also assisted in all aspects of litigation in the groundbreaking case of Boim, et al. v. Quranic Literacy Institute, et al. seeking to hold accountable American organizations involved in supporting the Hamas terrorist organization that perpetrated the 1996 terrorist attack in Beit El, Israel in which American citizen David Boim was killed.

While working in close coordination with the Executive Director of IPT, I was involved in all aspects of this non-profit organization's research work investigating the operations, funding, activities and front groups of Islamic terrorist and extremist groups in the United States and around the world. In this position, I was a specialist on Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad and worked with various intelligence agencies in developing research dossiers on specific individuals and front groups in the United States and abroad that provided funding for these organizations. I researched and drafted congressional testimony, news articles for various publications of nationwide circulation, and contributed as the primary ghostwriter to the drafting of a former New York Times bestseller - American Jihad: The Terrorists Living Among Us.
