When I was 18, I was deployed to Bosnia, and had the most eye opening experiences and really truly understood what it meant to be grateful. While I was deployed, there were moments when I asked myself why I joined the military and why I was willing to risk my life at such a young age. Despite the feeling of regret and uncertainty, mental and physical fatigue, and MRE (ready-to eat meals) overdose, I realized the difficulties that lied ahead and realized the type of person I wanted to become. During my time in the military I had the opportunity to learn from some of the greatest leaders and witness how to successfully operate and function within the biggest organization in the world.Luckily, today, I don’t experience such hardships such as the ones I once did in Bosnia, however I have put that knowledge and experience to work as a Customer Service manager. Today, I may not have to fight a war…but I do have daily battles to overcome.I am well versed in planning and development, relationship management, operations, staffing, scheduling and customer service. If you’re interested in grabbing coffee and talking shop (or hear how I almost fell out of a helicopter at 300 feet during a repelling mission), please send an email my way.
