I worked as a legal intern at the Litigation Boutique, a small law firm specializing in employment-related matters. I completed legal research and writing for the benefit of plaintiffs and defendants in employment law matters. Developed pre- and post- trial motions, pleadings, complaints, demand letters, and research memos. Evaluated legal claims for plaintiffs and defendants related to discrimination under state and federal statutes, unemployment, retaliation, and quasi-judicial proceedings.

I completed work as a student legal extern with the Honorable Judge Joe Jefferson at the Englewood Municipal Court, Colorado's solely elected municipal judge. Responsibilities included comprehensive legal research, informational program development, and media construction on issues ranging from local policy choices to state legislation to public trust in the national judiciary.

Facilitating gender violence prevention education trainings for students at the University of Denver with required first-year trainings and specific emphasis on mental health awareness on suicide prevention and other disorders and GVPE outreach through events and trainings centered on Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Stalking Awareness Month, and Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

Through my role as an Undergraduate Student Government Senator, I chaired the Senate Affairs Committee and had the honor of being the Elections Commissioner, where I conducted elections to USG in the Fall and Spring of my term.

I had the pleasure of serving the University of Denver’s undergraduate student body as a Senator for the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS). As CAHSS Senator, I worked to improve DU’s campus to be more beneficial to all students!
