"It's about money, not about air". Many plants struggle with their air system and/or have higher costs than necessary. And solving those issues can almost always be done with a ROI project that doesn't involve new compressors. One of the causes of this is that the fact gathering and solutions development is done by parts of the organization that doesn't have P&L responsibility. That in turn forces them to rely on vendors who have a vested interest in the solution. CAC is a vendor neutral consultant and our projects reduce the cost of compressed air typically by 20-60%. We create projects that meet the clients ROI or payback requirements. if it is two years, we create a project with 2 years. When incentive of high power costs exist, the numbers can be significantly lower. The projects often result in increased air quality and more stable pressure too. We are independent of the compressor companies and it is rare that our recommendations include new compressors. Our projects are primarily ROI based and we have the abilty to handle any aspect of a compressed air project that a plant doesn't have the inclination, time or expertise to undertake. We've done work and are particularly well suited to powder/bulk systems such as cement/lime and mines, chemical and petrochemical, food and bev, pharmaceutical, textile, utility, and have experience in just about every industry imaginable . We have done audits in roughly half of the cement plants in the US and Canada.Specialties: Compressed Air Improvement Projects including feasibility studies, compressed air audits, detailed engineering and project management.
