Senior Ux Researcher
CurrentAt Edward Jones, I work on a SAFe product team dedicated to implementing Salesforce as a replacement for our legacy system that is used daily by over 40,000 branch users. Salesforce will serve as the hub of all user activity, touching and integrating all legacy and yet-to-be developed firmwide systems. In my UXR capacity, I work to achieve the following:*Lead the strategic design and execution of user-centered research, leading to actionable insights, which inform the iterative design and development of the new software platform;*Conduct UX research, deploying various methods (semi-structured interviews, usability sessions, focus groups, unmoderated diary sessions, first-click tests, SUS, surveys, etc.) that precipitate product optimizations and improve the user experience;*Analyze qualitative data using Grounded Theory (Strauss & Glaser, 1967) through open coding and thematic clustering via affinity mapping in Mural;*Analyze quantitative data by deploying relevant statistical methods to generate digestible insights;*Disseminate research results and recommendations to high-level firm stakeholders via both static and dynamic deliverables;*Develop efficient processes and resources to work across a multi-researcher product team;*Assess and oversee UX project execution by collaboratively establishing product objectives and KPIs;*Leverage academic background and methodological toolkit to mentor and assist junior UX researchers in achieving product goals across the firm portfolio.
