Juggling multiple roles and challenges during an extensive career at SED International, I progressed from Inside Sales Rep to Outside Sales Rep, Sales Team Leader, Sales Trainer, South East Regional Sales Manager, and (National) Director of Online Business Development as SED increased from 15 million to a one billion dollar run rate From 2000 -2008 I set the agenda and priorities for SEDONLINE, managing and coordinating internal and customer-facing projects cross-departmentally with our strategic business partners, clients, and vendors for various initiatives related to SED's online business development. (E-Commerce platform development, Online Tech Support, Product Catalog, System Configuration Services, Salesrep Education and Support, and Customer Sales Assistance) I collaborated with SED's MIS, Sales, Purchasing, Marketing, and Customer Service departments on a daily basis, bringing together corporate resources, mid and C-level management, and a diverse mix of outside contractors and vendors in order to both promote and develop an integrated framework to deliver the indispensable technology and marketing tools for our sales team to leverage their time and increase sales. I implemented and managed an online sales catalog for our both customers and sales reps providing an effective and efficient way for both customers and vendors to interface with SED. This became the successful cornerstone of SED's digital sales, marketing, and customer relationship programs. I took ownership of the setup and implementation of the customer-facing pricing system used by SED for all product SKUs to stratify online customers, promoted increased customer purchasing loyalty, and provided the pricing framework used by SED's sales force.I also interfaced with over 1500 VAR accounts over my career in a consultative selling role, sharing marketing, sales, and operations advice on a regular basis to foster their relationship with SED and help customers become more successful.
