John Macaskill is Founder and CEO of Crossroads Property Group a full-service property management and renovation group specializing in complete home management, repairs, maintenance, design consultation, and project management. Having completed multiple renovation projects in New York City apartments and his own Connecticut home restoration, his unique skill-set and passion for real estate was recognized and he started being asked to consult and oversee projects for others. Realizing the need for high-level representation and guidance in home ownership he pivoted his career and founded Crossroads Property Group in 2022. Previously, Mr. Macaskill served as President and COO of Links Collection Capital a Private Equity Real Estate firm focused on developing hospitality assets around premier golf venues where he wasresponsible for the acquisition, development, and management of Links Collection properties in the UK. In before this he was an Executive Director at J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank in New York where he was responsible for providing holistic balance sheet advice to high-net-worth individuals and family office clients across both public and private markets. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Mr. Macaskill advised many of the world’s largest real estate and infrastructure investors, including Brookfield, CBRE, Starwood, Cohen & Steers and Nuveen as an Executive Director in Capital Markets at J.P. Morgan, Macquarie Bank and The Royal Bank of Canada. Mr. Macaskill earned an M.A. Business Studies Honours Degree from the University of Edinburgh (Scotland) and an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. He currently sits on the board of Paradyme an investment management and real estate investment firm. Mr. Macaskill lives in Greenwich, CT with is wife and two children.
