Serve as one of six members on the management team responsible for the sustainability of Hill’s Supply as a company, as well as the development of several new processes. Solely completed schematic capture, component selection, and PCB layout for eight board designs, the most complex being eight layers with 5/5mil width and spacing. Design includes low level analog, high speed digital, power, and high voltage. Completed hardware board-up and debug of all eight board designs. Completed board, sub-assembly, and final assembly level hardware verification testing.Completed IEC 60601 safety testing, including extensive IEC 60601-1-2 EMC, EMI, and ESD testing.Worked closely with contract manufacturers on board level design for manufacturability and long lead time component issues.Worked with and coordinated multiple consultants for support, including component level reliability analysis, regulatory safety requirements definition and test protocol, and high speed digital timing and signal integrity analysis.Designed and tested hardware for manufacturing's board and system level automated test fixture "AutoTest.”Aided in compiling the new generation FDA submittal in 2008, which received FDA approval in 2009.Supported previously released systems by testing and debugging EMI issues, performing timing analysis and re-layout for memory obsolescence, debugging and fixing flyback converter noise immunity issues, as well as other various component availability and reliability issues.
