Project Name: Motor City Value: £ 225 M Up Town Area 2 Brief Description of Scope, Role and Responsibilities: As a Construction Director my duties on site include – * The management and control of the construction activities on the Motor City development. The development is the construction of thirty two buildings and thirty four villas, the buildings varied in height from G+4 to G+6, with two underground parking levels. This includes the external works which includes swimming pools, changing rooms and all associated hardscape and softscape works. Over the thirty two buildings there are two thousand and sixty two apartments ranging from Studio to three bedroom apartments.* The development is split into three phases, with each phase being controlled by an individual Project Manager in general using a combined resource which is my responsibility to manage. Each Phase has a separate completion date, but overall project had a contract period of two and a half years, currently due for completion May 2009.* During construction our direct employed labour peaked at five thousand five hundred men and subcontractors at four thousand men. For the direct employees this included all associated plant required for the construction of the project. On the project we had twenty two tower cranes to assist with construction and material distribution.* As the construction director, along with the individual Project Manager, I was responsible for the co-ordination of all activities associated within the project, to ensure that the project construction was on programme and within budget.

Motor City Value: £ 60 M Up Town Area 2 Brief Description of Scope, Role and Responsibilities: As a Project Manager my duties on site include – * The management and control of the construction of Phase 2 on Motor City development, this represented approximately 26% of the development. Phase two consisted of the construction of eight buildings, which varied in height from G+4 to G+6, with two underground parking levels. Over the eight buildings there were five hundred and thirty three apartments ranging from Studio to three bedroom apartments. * Typically the construction of the buildings was concrete reinforced frame, precast floors, external blockwork walls and internal drylining partitions. Finishes included natural stone, ceramic tiling, false ceilings, marbel and included the installation on the MEP, kitchens and bathrooms. * During construction we had on site approximately twelve hundred direct labour and one thousand subcontractors. * As the senior project manager I was responsible for the co-ordination of all activities associated with Phase 2, to ensure that the project construction was on programme and within budget. * Reporting to the Project Director and the Project Management team on the progress and issues associated with Phase 2Position Held: Project Manager May 2005 – July 2006Project Name: Dubai Festival City Value: £ 60 M District Cooling
