Legal secretary by day and rock star by night, John Macom is an internationally known (BMI) singer-songwriter whose songs you have heard on Dawson’s Creek, Party of Five, Felicity, and many other other teen dramas with his band Binge (USA). Hear his critically acclaimed release "Unforeseen Circumstances" being called debut album of the year at www.johnmacom.com.John wrote, performed and produced the Binge’s “Anna Kournikova” song featured in the E! True Hollywood Story. John’s band was then commissioned by CBS Sports to create more tracks about tennis players. The result was Binge’s “TennisTunes” EP featuring “Grand Slam Man” (Roger Federer), used in Nike's "Betterer" branding campaign, “Vamos Rafa” (Rafael Nadal), "Maria Sharapova Song" and "Hey! It’s Andy Roddick", etc. that are continuously used in commercials and sports programs. John Macom has co-written and produced songs with American Idol's Antonella Barba, Melissa Romanovich (see below) and High Plains Drifters. John has previously composed original (orchestral) music for several documentaries and independent films, including "The History of Money" with James Earl Jones and "Before 2001" with Arthur C. Clarke, “Where Wheelchairs Are Not Allowed”, “Fish Without A Bicycle”, “Significant Others” (Columbia Tristar) and “The Night Before Last”. He wrote the Tennis Channel's "Open Access" theme song. John creates, engineers and produces music at his Shabby Road Studios in NYC. He can create and complete your recording or songwriting project from start to finish.
