On a bitingly cold and frosty morning in January 2005, a decision was made while trying to kick-start a rusty cement mixer with a lump hammer to return to education, and the rest is how I got to where I am right now. Since then, I attained an MA in Advanced Social Care; presided over the Institute's Students' Union for four years; become a trainer with the National Office for Suicide Prevention; have taught (Politics and Psychology) at 3rd level; have written in four books, edited others; worked as a reporter in a national magazine; coordinated a national inclusion strategy with Traveller youths and NGOs; and have become an educator and content creator for a private education company specialising in Communications, Personal Development and Healthcare. Where to next? Let's talk.
