• Boosting the profile of the Maltese Islands, attaining 12,000+ tourist nominations annually through the STAR Awards programme.
• Introducing a Quality Label, initially established for Destination Management Companies (DMCs). The success of the scheme led to replication outside of Malta.
• Successfully developing and managing sustainability plan for hotels with close to a 20% participation rate, the highest for a European national scheme.

• I ensured that the quality of hotels was attained by conducting inspections and validating star ratings. To promote effective change, I partnered with other team members to draft new laws. Specific highlights for this.
