➤ Overseeing operations, I managed a team of six direct reports including two Quality Managers, a Process Engineering Manager, a Launch Manager, a Systems/Supplier Manager, and a Continuous Improvement Team Lead. My responsibilities included supervising operations across two manufacturing sites in the UK and Poland, where we were accountable for supplying fabric to Europe and North Africa. ________________________________________Additionally, I oversaw operations in North America, where I managed a Senior Quality Manager and 18 reports at a manufacturing site in North Carolina, serving a workforce of about 700 employees and supplying fabric across North America.I successfully introduced 23 new automotive fabric products in 2023 for major OEMs including Audi, BMW, and JLR. Each launch was executed flawlessly, with zero quality spills or containment issues. These launches included several 'Conquest' products, which involved replicating existing products under extremely tight lead times. To achieve $7.5 million in savings in 2023, I led an Online Improvement Plan (OIP) that focused on cost reduction. I managed 64 projects across Plant and VAVE categories, identifying improvement opportunities by analysing MFE spending and key KPIs. I also developed automated and interactive scrap reports to prioritise issues, which led to strategic business decisions regarding product strategy and capital investment. I used Lean techniques, including Value Stream Mapping (VSM), to optimise business processes which included efforts to reduce scrap, lower energy usage, and streamline the costing process and engineering change approvals. I conducted data analysis and reporting using tools such as Power BI, Dundas BI, and Palantir Foundry, directly reporting to the EU Operations Director for Fabric and the Global Quality Director – Surface Materials. manual processing, duplication, and redundancy.
