I am a professor of Analytical Biochemistry. I focus on the extracellular or circulating protein ligands in the blood and their receptors on the surface of cells. I use enzymatic, biochemical, mass spectrometry and laser confocal microscopy to analyze proteins and peptides. I have invented a method to activate and capture receptors from the surface of live cells using ligand nano beads. I Invented the ultra sensitive ELIMSA system for linear quantification of pico gram amounts of proteins. I have many papers and patents on the comparison of blood proteins or secreted proteins between normal and disease samples. I do large scale SQL/R database and statistical analysis of proteomic results from LC-ESI-MS/MS experiments. A Post-Doctoral Position is open in our lab for application by Oct 25 2022.
