Over 34 years experience in banking regulation, fifteen years of which were with the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) and 18 in the Financial Regulatory Services team at a bid 4 audit firm in South Africa.Whilst at the SARB served on the Exco of the Banking Supervision Department. He has worked in several African countries and was seconded to the Financial Stability Institute of the BIS in 2001. Past Chairman and a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants Banking Project Group and the Regulatory Sub-Committee and is also a past member of the Exco of the South African Securitisation Forum.Has deep experience in assisting with banking licences, Basel I, II & III, regulatory reporting and all aspects of banking regulation.He holds Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Business Leadership degrees
