I supervised, planned and directed the investigative activities of five investigative groups and a multi-agency task force of state and local police officers with respect to narcotics smuggling and trafficking, money laundering and critical infrastructure security as it pertained to Miami International Airport.I also prepared the mission initiatives and budgeting proposals each fiscal year and ensured that the investigative initiatives were consistent with the Office of National Drug Control Policy guidelines (High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area).

I managed and directed long-term conspiracy investigations of alleged export violations affecting U.S. foreign policy. The primary thrust was to stem the flow of restricted U.S. commodities, including high technology and munitions list articles to hostile foreign countries.
