• Ensuring proper books of accounts are maintained through appropriate analysis, costing and prompt posting in line with generally accepted accounting principles. • Tasked with preparations of financial statements and reports for the company in line IFRS Ensuring proper books of accounts are maintained through appropriate analysis, costing and prompt posting in line with generally accepted accounting principles. • Preparations, processing and payment of statutory deductions (VAT, NHIF, NSSF & PAYE). • Liaising with external auditors and providing required audit schedules and support document during auditing process.• Ensuring office financial filing is accurate, retrieval of documents is easy and filing is always kept up- to-date, with no unfiled documentation at the end of each working day. • Making certain that weekly and monthly stock take and reconciliation is done and any variance is investigated and reported to the management. • Offering technical support and advices to General Manager • Make certain that the company complies with respective regulatory requirements set by EPRA, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Petroleum and Mining as well as taxation bodies. • Setting sales goals, looking for new business opportunities, conducting monthly market surveys and updating the management on best ways to make our products more competitive • Quarterly and annually reparation, review and presentation of Management accounts to Management for comparison against previous period as well as for budgeting. • Reviewing all receipts and invoices for accuracy and completeness with all their respective supporting documents.
