fully time served Bricklayer , with over 40 years experience in property refurbishment ,maintenance and new build.CSCS CARD GOLD....construction experience gained in 4 different countries , the last one was Spain 14 years. I have experience in stone work, dressed , random and dry . ceramic tiling , slab lying, concreting , swimming pool construction, house building, renovations, alterations, timber work, all brickwork and block work, ADVICE AND ESTIMATE ALWAYS FREE. more Brickwork / General building work needed . after 45 years in construction , I get told to get this cert. or that cert. this country should treat adults like adults , BRING BACK COMMONSENSE IN CONSTRUCTION, after 45 years to be told I need a certificate for manual handling , how to change a disc blade, stop the stupidity get back to you need a cert for operating machinery , but when it comes to wearing gloves ,that should be up to the individual , I get told wear your gloves or go home . I find it hard to wear gloves , a bricklayer needs to feel the trowel . my hands , my responsibility . back off more experience . 3 years with manpower services. teaching brickwork , farm maintenance with the Co op whole sale.farms devision in Leicester.
