As a battle tested M&A, PE, & VC lawyer with a decade of experience, I have represented diverse clients, ranging from tiny startups to global industry giants, and closed over 80 deals cumulatively worth USD 20 Bn across seven jurisdictions. Between 2021-22, I worked as a senior consultant for Alpha Wave Global, a New York-based global venture capital fund, and helped them close more than 45 venture-growth investments cumulatively worth USD 12 Bn across India, Southeast Asia, and the United States, within a year.Before that, I worked at AZB & Partners and Trilegal, two of India's premier tier-1 law firms, where I represented global PE funds and other marquee clients in diverse sectors on several high-value deals spanning mergers, demergers, cross-border investments, joint ventures, strategic acquisitions, and corporate restructurings.Today, having immersed myself in the dynamic startup ecosystem and understanding the unique legal challenges faced by startups and investors, through my brand Team Counsel, I am focused on building an efficient emerging companies law practice for India by re-imagining the delivery of legal services and embracing technology, while maintaining global quality benchmarks.When I am not lawyering, I like to read books, listen to music, and play with Rocky, my pet labrador retriever.If you have unanswered legal questions or need guidance building your startup or navigating early-stage investments, I'd love to chat.
