Senior Appellate Consultant John Mattimore has bolstered AppealTech’s ability to provide clients with unmatched, quality service. John has smoothly guided his clients from start to finish in perfecting thousands of appeals by calling upon his expertise in the New York Appellate Divisions, the New York State Court of Appeals, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and the Federal Circuit. His vast knowledge of the written and unwritten rules of the various appellate courts are what his clients rely on when the need to perfect an appeal arises.His personable demeanor has enabled him to build a vast network at the appellate court level ensuring that even the most obscure questions receive a prompt answer. The foundation of John’s background in customer service was laid during his time working with an insurance firm in Long Island. He used his property and casualty license to simplify processes and assist clients, allowing him to bring a veteran’s mindset to AppealTech, where he instinctively knows what to say to ensure clients are satisfied and given peace of mind. When he’s not helping clients, John can be found in his home town of Blue Point on Long Island volunteering as a firefighter.

John Mattimore grew up on Long Island and he and his wife continue to make it their home to this day. He graduated from Mount Saint Mary College in 2006 with a B.A. in Secondary Education. While in college, he gained extensive knowledge in the education field with a focus on the English language. After earning his degree, he continued his studies at the POHS Institute and became a licensed property and casualty insurance broker. It was during his years as an insurance broker that John honed his sales, management and overall customer service skills. It was these skills that led him to be a particularly good fit at PrintingHouse Press.John joined the PrintingHouse Press team in 2014 as an Appellate Consultant and has trained under attorneys and other seasoned appellate professionals at PHP. Having dealt with clients in other industries for over 10 years, John combined his in-the-trenches know-how with a penchant for being a quick learner, and has become a valued asset to PrintingHouse Press as well as his clients. His ability to adjust quickly to a fast-paced environment wherein attorneys are always seeking his counsel has enabled him to garner the trust of his appellate clients. He looks forward to working in appellate services and litigation support for years to come.In his spare time, John volunteers as a firefighter in Blue Point, New York. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys both playing and watching baseball and football.
