I am a versatile scientific officer and biotechnologist with research and clinical pathology experience who served 8 years within the Royal Australian Air Force (veteran) as an armament technician. I have demonstrated that I work well with and am a capable influencer of others, with a high attention to detail that consistently exceeds standards, and a proven ability to prioritise and conduct competing tasks. I have developed a passion for the laboratory (micro, repro etc.) and healthcare (clinical pathology) sectors and would relish a chance to further my personal ambition in providing quality diagnostic, stakeholder and patient services within the right company, for which my skills would be highly welcomed.Currently I am fulfilling scientific officer roles within medical diagnostic laboratories, with previous experience consisting of laboratory assistant roles on research projects being conducted within a university reproductive and microbiology laboratory. Through these positions I have acquired the skills which allow me to efficiently perform - autonomously and within a team - within a laboratory and regulated environment. My diverse and multidisciplinary skill set enables me to be highly adaptable to any situation whilst conducting myself in a professional manner. Prior defence force roles have donned me as a WHS coordinator, first-aid officer, hazardous chemicals advisor, and a team supervisor whilst carrying out my primary roles.I have a proven ability to successfully initiate/conduct stakeholder engagement, technical analysis, quality control practices, project management, mechanical testing/calibration, asset governance, chemical reagent handling/formulation, and a plethora of scientific methodologies.
