Generalist HR role providing support and guidance to the Islamic Finance business covering Performance Management, Pay and Rewards, Employee engagement, talent/development and succession planning. Responsibility for this business is global and covers UK, Malaysia, Indonesia, UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Brunei.Specialist role focusing on Learning, Talent Management, Strategic Resourcing initiatives and Organisational Development(LTROD) for Global Banking, Markets and Private Bank (Global Businesses) MENA and Global Amanah (Global Islamic Finance business for HSBC). Leading the Implementation of the Resourcing Lead Talent strategy for both Global Amanah and the Global Businesses in the MENA region. Scope of role covers identification, succession planning, analytics and formulation of problem statements and development initiatives.Leading the formulation and implementation of the Global Amanah People Strategy as well as Diversity and Inclusion initiatives for the business across Asia Pacific and the Middle East region.Leading the management and coordination of Employee Engagement initiatives as well as Vision and Values as part of overall Organisational Development (OD) proposition for relevant businesses.As part of the Global leadership team for the HSBC Business School, inputting into the strategy, governance and tactical execution of the learning agenda for HSBC globally. Double hats as Global Academy Head for HSBC Amanah and Regional Head for Global businesses.Supports and advices senior HR Generalists and Business leaders with relevant bespoke interventions on an ongoing basis.

Provided Generalist HR Support to the ME Global businesses covering recruitment, performance management processes, pay review and exit management in a high growth business environment.Ensured availability of relevant market data for sizing compensation through participation in several salary surveys.Lead the implementation of several versions of the HSBC Performance Management systems and processes.Facilitated the Appreciative Inquiry process for the ME as part of the formulation of HSBC Group Values – Open, Connected, Dependable.Lead the roll out of the first ever Global People survey across the MENA region for the Global Businesses.Set up first ever Learning function/Learning Management System for GBM and GPB across HBME/HSBC Saudi Arabia with limited resources and embedded elearning as part of the learning culture for the region.Delivered several briefing sessions/focus groups on various HR topics across the MENA regionJointly lead the Self Audit of the HR function as part of the Risk management framework of the function.
