I am interested in the relationship between crime and architecture and how human behaviour interacts with the built form. I offer crime prevention, planning and design advice and training including CPTED in a range of settings including urban renewal, development assessment, apartment living, integrated transport, landscape architecture, retail and corporate environments and the night time economy. I am currently providing CPTED training courses to Local Government NSW and the private sector. My experience includes authoring and co-ordinating the Parramatta City Council Crime Prevention Plan 2020-2023 and providing CPTED advice in relation to Parramatta Square, Parramatta Stadium and the proposed light rail. Assisted Burwood Council with crime prevention planning and delivered CPTED and Development Assessment training to Burwood Strategic and Development Assessment planners and N.S.W. Police. Worked with Wollongong City Council on a report titled Pedestrian Lighting Audit of the CBD exploring the lighting and pedestrian environment as it relates to the night time economy and public transport settings. Delivered CPTED training sessions to N.S.W. Police and Penrith City Council planners and community and cultural development staff including a site assessment identifying design flaws in a new development experiencing burglary and anti-social behaviour and working together through a current development application to exchange information and to streamline and add value to the process. Worked with Coffs Harbour City Council on two projects relating to problematic public spaces in the CBD, provided advice to Mornington Island Council on survey development and community consultation for their Community Safety Plan and worked with Liverpool City Council on a CPTED report for a new development in the CBD. Also provided CPTED advice to the N.S.W. Government for a new regional park in Leppington and together with Harris Consultants, the Paddington Greenway cycleway.

Responsible for developing a range of crime prevention plans and strategies including the Redfern-Waterloo and Glebe Community Safety Plans, authored the City's Safe City Strategy, developed and delivered CPTED training programs, provided crime prevention advice to a range of large urban renewal projects in Green Square, Barangaroo, Harold Park, University of Sydney, UTS, Redfern and Waterloo, undertook community consultation and research, events coordination including the City's Good Neighbourhood BBQ program and provided advice on a broad range of complex social issues relating to the night time economy, street lighting, CCTV, hostile vehicle mitigation and street drinking.
