My current role is within a business that supply treated telegraph poles to the utility and telecom sector. My key responsibilities are as follows.- The running of the site and material movements within the Scottish arm of the business.- Organising the movement of goods from our overseas suppliers to our wide array of customers- Working with key stakeholders inside and outside the business to ensure numerous successful project deliveries.- Developing and creating shipping plans to meet customer needs.- Streamlining processes and creating excel models, both financial and operational, to reduce the manual workings within the business.- Enhance the output of the SAGE financial system used within the company.

As a finance analyst within Jacobs, my role was varied and involved working to tight deadlines. My key duties included;-Preparing weekly KPI reports to management and project teams.-Preparing monthly and quarterly variance reports illustrating performance for numerous key metrics- Assisting in the control and consolidation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, hit list and backlog for submission to corporate.- Assist in implementing new procedures within the department.
