General ManagerJll Jul 2020 - May 2023Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaI lead JLL’s property management team as we prepared to take over responsibility for HSBC’s newly constructed office tower at the TRX Precinct in Kuala Lumpur. Comprising 7 basement levels and 33 office levels, the new tower incorporated some of Malaysia’s most sophisticated engineering systems to meet HSBC’s global engineering standards for global bank licensing and sustainability requirements. Our arrangements were greatly complicated due to COVID restrictions on construction activities and recruitment challenges, however with the support of our client and JLL’s regional support network we were able to be ready when Practical Completion was achieved in March 2021. We initiated comprehensive COVID management processes to maximise work time for the 4 seperate fitout projects and the extensive defect rectification activities. Following a staged occupation JLL’s property management team worked with HSBC’s local C suite and the regional CRE group to develop asset management and client service strategies that attracted global attention.

We are also Brisbane’s first building to achieve Greenstar As Built and Performance 6 star awards.
