I'm able to drive transformation and business growth in small and medium sized enterprises, (SME) including those with international operations, making an immediate commercial impact. My particular areas of focus are in high level client relations, complex commercial requirements analysis and planning, product consultation, team management and project delivery.Some noteworthy activities and achievements include- Setting up an instructional design agency, winning business from the publishing and education sectors, gaining an in-depth insight into the UK and Ireland eLearning landscape.- Established a sales and marketing agency and helped to move small, loss-making businesses into profit and growth, securing the economic situation of the owners and employees.- Planned and implemented a call-centre and training/administrative facility for a client, generating profit and providing local employment.- Managed marketing teams and sales teams directly for employers. On one contract, 200+ staff were managed through a multi-functional team of 13 line managers.- Researched the mining and rail markets in Mexico, China, India, Spain and Poland for different employers, appointing new distributors and securing sales.- Interim Health & Safety manager, researching and writing health and safety procedures, then ensuring compliance.- Assisted employers Finance department with a global audit of assets, enabling pre-sale valuation of company.- Researched and interpreted market intelligence, providing input into new product development, developed marketing strategies, forecasting results using quantitative techniques and set sales targets, to achieve company growth.- Developed and implemented sales plans through recruiting, training and managing salespeople.
