My name is John McConnachie and I'm well known throughout Monmouthshire and South Wales for helping people to find their passion and confidence, training and coaching them to find their spark and importantly, to ignite it. At McConnachie Training and Coaching we focus on the human elements when helping build human resources. With over 25 years of Learning and Development experience working with organisations, teams, and individuals to develop the skills, knowledge and confidence alongside behaviours needed to do great things. We help to problem solve, carefully designing training so that delivery is when and where it’s needed to help with business continuity and priorities. We aim for 10/10 customer satisfaction by delivering what matters to you and your people.

Having worked in People Services for many years my currect role includes:-Design and Implementation of Corporate Training and Development Strategy for Monmouthshire County Council.Leading on strategy for Social Care Workforce Development Programme for Social Care Sector within Monmouthshire.Leading an ambitious modelling project with Qualified social workers enabled me to become a finalist in the Welsh Governments Social Care Accolades in 2010 and Im currently leading a project to totally redesign the way we think about recruiting the absolute right candidates into job roles using NLP methodology and theories based around meta-programs and motivation.Responsible for business activity linked to Individual and organisational development.Creative by nature and intrapreneurial in my approach to problem solving and achieving outcomesPeople like working with me because I'm bothered about making a difference in everything I do.I'm a doer, a deliverer, not restricted by role, boundary or hierarchy.I'm always looking for new challenges in terms of individual, team and organisational development.Particularly interested in helping you establish motivational factors/behaviours and identifying accurate measures and interventions towards your organisational purpose.Interested in associate roles, full time, part time or any innovative and flexible opportunities that I can add value to.

I started my own journey into NLP and coaching around 2005.I first completed an NLP Business Diploma with New Oceans NLP, being trained by Paul Jacobs and Dee Shipman. I went on to study further with David Key in Hertfordshire when I completed my INLPTA Practitioner course.Wanting to widen my experience even more, I then undertook NLP Master Practitioner training with John Seymour ( Bristol) a world renowned NLP trainer and author of many of the well known NLP books. This is where I really got a thirst for modelling and learned to understand how we can break down behaviours into understandable pieces and unpick the strategies behind them ,to help us understand how some people are top performers whilst others may be average, then all we need to do is identify the unique components of how they do it ,and then we can learn to replicate success for ourselves and also to teach others.Not satisfied with getting my Master Practitioner qualification, I then went on to complete the 20 day INLPTA Trainers training with Monkey Puzzle trainers Karen and John alongside NLP Guru Dr Wyatt Woodsmall PHD and Master Modeller.Completing the trainers training really taught me how to teach people in the way that they learn best and this has no doubt contributed to my in depth knowledge of learning how we learn most effectively.Leading an ambitious modelling project with Qualified social workers enabled me to become a finalist in the Welsh Governments Social Care Accolades in 2010 and Im currently leading a project to totally redesign the way we think about recruiting the absolute right candidates into job roles using NLP methodology and theories based around meta-programs and motivation.I've worked with many people on a 1-1 basis as well as in groups including achieving great results with peoples confidence, fears, phobias as well as speech problems and Post Traumatic Stress Disorders.
