As the Founder and CEO of Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation (WWIA), I am passionate about providing world-class outdoor sporting activities to our nation's combat wounded, Purple Heart recipients, as a means of recognition, recovery, and connection. I established WWIA in 2007, after a 20-year career as a professional soldier with various Special Operations and Joint Interagency Task Force assignments.With my experience in organizational leadership, leadership development, and conflict resolution, I lead a dedicated team of staff and volunteers who share my vision and values. Together, we have served thousands of Purple Heart recipients across the country, empowering them to heal and thrive through camaraderie and a shared passion for the outdoors. I am also a former CEO of a private aviation conglomerate, and a former director of business development and federal government sales for leading companies in the defense and transportation sectors.
