As the Head of Business Delivery Resources at d&b solutions, I have responsibility for: * Recruitment, training and development of a team of 25+ full-time Production Technicians/Engineers.* Crewing Services, dealing with 1,400+ freelancers, and recruiting new ones to meet the needs of the business.* Building partnerships with educational establishments to encourage recruitment, including Placements, Internships & Graduate Training Scheme.* Creating and extending a meaningful progression structure for my team in both technical and soft skills. * Training, mentoring and coaching leaders within the company to achieve their professional goals. I was the Chair of the Live Event Technician Apprenticeship Standard, helping to design it from the ground up. I am currently the Co-Chair of the Creative Industries Production Technician Apprenticeship Standard, helping to redesign the original standard and bring it up to date. I sit on the Advisory Board of Events Apprenticeships, an initiative to bring together in one place all information regarding apprenticeships within the live events industry, and am a serving Council Member for the Production Services Association, the largest trade association for people and companies involved in live production.I have nearly 30-years experience in the live events industry, having previously worked with Theatre Projects, Vari-Lite, VLPS, Essential Lighting & PRG, initially as an Account Manager, but later as Head of Production & Development Director.
