01 -NOV-2002 to 09-DEC-2009 British ArmyInfantry soldier Initially served in rifle platoon and mortar platoon and then sniper platoon. Deployed on 2 tours of Iraq, as well as overseas exercises in Belize, Germany and Kenya. Section 2ic – Provided cover as second in command on military operations. Duties included commanding Delta fire team, being responsible for Section Administration, management of supplies and ammunition, producing written reports and duty rosters, and dealing with the medical treatment and evacuation of casualties. Team Medic - Provided emergency medical treatment and assisted in casualty evacuations during a complex tour of Basra - Iraq. Successful completion of an 81mm Mortar course, learning how to set up, initiate and fire the mortar, maintain the equipment and how to work safely with various types of ammunition  Served in Northern Ireland, Iraq, the Falkland Islands, as well as overseas exercises in Belize, Germany and Kenya.
